Jim : Yep, to own a iPad you need some pretty big pockets! HA! I didn't even realize that was a double entendre until just now!
Wayne : Wow....you make some good points there.
Jim : Yikes! I'm not so sure. Only a 1GB processor, and 64GB max. C'mon, Apple. This is just an iPod Touch on steroids. At LEAST it could have a faster processor and double the memory. It's not like they didn't have the space available. It runs the same 140,000 apps as the Touch & iPhone (normal size or scaled-up), plus new "iPad-Only" apps. It's kind of a crippled notepad computer for $499, but you can get an awesome notepad PC for even LESS!
Wayne : I want an ipad!
Doug : oh and never mind about ITO my wife doesn't want to move to that area even if i did get a job there. i don't know why she doesn't but she doesn't want to go further north.
Doug : it's great that u still have your website. i never thought it would still be around. but sure enough it is hehe. it was nice getting back in touch with you. seeing all those old photos of the things that went on when i was still at CirQon are hard to believe and hard to believe it was that long ago it seems.

Arizona-to-Wisconsin Road Trip Photos - Set 1

I just uploaded the first batch of photos from the road trip that Jay and took from Arizona to Wisconsin. This first batch is mostly mountains. I was very fascinated, having never seen a mountain "in-person" before. Jay took me up to the top of South Mountain in Phoenix, where I was able to just go nuts and snap hundreds of photos of everything I could. Time was very limited though, as we were on a rather tight schedule, so most photos were take from the car while moving. I did my best to take the best of them, punch them up a bit, and post them here, so I hope they look ok. Click on the thumbnail image to view them. The next batch coming up after this one is from our stop in Roswell, New Mexico. Still editing those though, but they'll be up soon.
